ABOUT

“Ben has the gift of exhortation: he holds the reins of a dream until the dreamer believes. Big vision, big energy. Thank you Ben for your willingness to see, for being a man of your word, for the lifelines you’ve offered me this year, and for your encouragement to GSD.”

Angela Abide
Host, The Deepening Place Podcast

Hi, this is Ben.

I am grateful you are here! And since you’re here, you’re likely looking to make a positive shift. As a resilience coach I’ve helped numerous businesses, high performers, and executives in recovery successfully work through some of life’s most defining moments.

As you’ve probably experienced, defining moments can go one of two ways. I coach people to take positive action and set a practice to stay in action for meaningful and lasting change.

Prior to coaching, I had a successful career as a Chief Marketing Officer at some of Silicon Valley’s hottest technology companies. But in 2010 I ‘hit the wall’ and found myself stuck in a state of overwhelm, struggling with anxiety and fear. I had a substance abuse problem. And, I got help.

Going in and out of recovery, my journey was not a straight line to success. However, through a deliberate positive practice I experienced a transformation. And now I’m blessed to enjoy meaningful relationships, meaningful experiences, and meaningful work. Through abundant energy, abundant spirit, and a strong bias for action I have sparked real change in people worldwide. It is my hope I can spark that change for you (or your team or business) too!

Interested in what it’s like working with me? Please follow me on Instagram for “In-The-Moment’ coaching. I regularly share my thoughts and tips, along with photos of life in Palo Alto with my husband Rick and our Portuguese Water Dog, Rocket. As I am a major aviation geek, you’ll likely see the occasional photo (or two or three) of airplanes, too.

Real breakthroughs start with true understanding.

When I work with high performers who know success yet feel stuck and overwhelmed, I respond with “Me, too.” As a business leader and executive in recovery, I’ve been there. And, from my experience, I offer hope and a path forward.
