Clients often call me because they’re stuck -- and they need to get unstuck, right now. Within five minutes what I typically hear is the personal or professional (sometimes both) issue that’s most challenging at that moment. That’s a natural place to start. When we’re uncomfortable, we want to feel comfortable again -- and fast.
The real work -- the transformative work -- begins once we dive below the immediate challenge. What’s below the surface may seem complex, but my strengths allow me to help clients quickly cut through the noise to identify the best path forward. As one of my clients once remarked,
"You see things no one else does, and you see them in an instant."
I also have a strong bias for action. If you’re just now getting to know me, welcome! One thing you’ll see throughout my website is a reference to GSD. GSD is my shorthand for the techniques that enable someone to get unstuck and move the ball down the field. The legendary coach Vince Lombardi once remarked, “Inches make champions.” (Yes, I’m a Green Bay Packers’ fan!) GSD is all about using the momentum from action to help you rise to the top.
As your coach, I’m focused on helping you build resiliency, inspiring you, challenging you, helping you find your authentic self, and knowing what it feels like to operate with integrity. That’s when we’re “in the flow” of life, not pushing (or being pulled). And that’s a much more enjoyable place to be.
